Our Restaurant at the End of the Universe was a project exploring food & creative practices through visual art workshops, group cooking sessions and the production of a video work. The project was hosted for young people at Rumpus Room by a collective of studio members Ara Carmona, Dylan Izzard, Fatma Hegazy, Mathilde N’Doye and Ragini Chawla with support from Nadia & Camilla. Together the group created their own tableware using clay & found objects, invented new collective recipes for the future, experimented with natural dying, created their our own fermented foods and explored how embodied knowledge is passed from generation to generation through cooking & sharing recipes.
