The application to join our Young Artists’ Committee is now OPEN!!! 💥
This opportunity is open to any and all 16-23 year old artists, regardless of formal arts experience, who live, work and/or study in Govanhill or the surrounding Glasgow Southside area. The group meets for 2 hours over a meal every other week, currently on Thursday evenings.

By being part of the committee you feed in and shape the Rumpus Room public programme through facilitating Yard Play (our holiday programme for 6-12y/os); going on residency together; making the seasonal Beansprouts Express newsletter. Committee members can also access paid opportunities to assist at community events and recieve individual 1-to-1 and peer support with your own creative practise. You will also recieve a stipend of £100 every three months toward your time at meetings.
